Uttar Pradesh government to give students Rs. 1200 for uniform and stationary

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath consecutively putting efforts to maintain a progressive longevity. On this Tuesday, the government has decided to give an amount of Rs.1100 with addition of Rs. 100 for purchase of stationary for students of state government run basic schools. The amount will be given in order to facilitate the need of uniform and school bags as well.

The decision was assented in the recent cabinet meeting under the supervision and chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In the meeting it was decided that the payment shall be made through DBT into accounts of the parents/guardians.

On Tuesday, while briefing the media over the decision taken in the meeting, minister of state (independent charge) for basic education, Sandeep Singh stated that students of Class 1 to 8 in primary and upper primary schools of basic education board and unaided primary and pre secondary school are to be considered eligible to get the amount. Also added that an amount of Rs. 1200 will be paid and consolidating the figures it would be Rs. 2225.60 crore.

Also, this year the target is to reach and benefit two crore students which is five million more from last year records.

Thus, in order to perform the decided act, the government set out the verification process of parents through Aadhar cards previous year. Order to arrange the verification of the students through Aadhar to be managed this time.

Government’s plan to allocate the benefits in remote and rural areas:

State cabinet has collectively ensured to strengthen the services in rural areas as well by the order given village secretariat. The panchayat assistants working in the village secretariats would be administering to run the public service centres in the village secretariat through district service provider selected by centre for e-governance, information technology and electronics departments.

As the amount will be deposited in the accounts of village panchayat i.e. village fund. So far, all services have been mentioned in the e-district portal at the village secretariat level and already being set up in all 58189 village panchayats. The government is ensuring with immediate improvement if requires, that the connectivity is made and villagers to get documents through panchayat assistants.

Uttar Pradesh government funds to observe “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign

The cabinet gives nod to the proposal of the MSME department to purchase 2 crore national flags from the MSME units for the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

By this the firm determination of Yogi Adityanath can be seen to speed up the progress in the domain of education. Also, the contributions and immediate action pertinent to develop the skill market in districts have been made. Through this Uttar Pradesh is heading towards the direction of becoming smart state. Hence, the development of a state will have compounded benefits in future for all the states in India.
