Yogi Adityanath recently seen surveying routes, temples in western U.P. districts amid ongoing Kanwar Yatra and instructed the administration to set up health posts along the routes.
The survey by the Chief Minister in the routes in Meerut, Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar and other region. He also surveyed Puramhadev temple in Baghpat and Augharnath temple in Meerut where Kanwariyas will gather to offer “Gangaajal” to Lord Shiva on Tuesday.
Another helicopter accompanied IG, Meerut range, Praveen Kumar and other government officials and they showered flower petals on Kanwariyas near Augharnath temple.
While a video conference, the CM directed senior officials to set up health posts at various posts in anticipating any health issue that could occur to Kanwariyas. CM strictly ordered the administration to restrain any use of weapons or display of the same.
Meanwhile, IG Praveen Kumar said, that extended security arrangements have been made to counter any untoward situation and also various facilities have been settled to monitor the Kanwar Yatra.
IG added that, special directions have been given to the police officials to keep a secure and close watch on women, Divyangs and children until the end of religious ceremony.
Control rooms were installed to keep a watch and to immediately reach if anybody would be seeking help or emergency also added IG.
Muslim Kanwarias were seen in Baghpat and one naming Babu Khan who brought Kanwar from Haridwar third time to offer the gangajal to Lord Shiva at Puramahadev temple at district. Babu Khan was wearing cap and carried Kanwar and observed by many as a centre of attraction.
Khan expressed his disappointment for not conducting any Kanwar Yatra for two years due to COVID 19 and was addressing his routine of first cleaning Lord Shiva temple every morning before offering Namaz.
