RISE OF PAN INDIA ISLAMIC PARTY & DEMISE OF SECULAR PARTIES
The seeds of Indian National Congress was laid by A.O.Hume in 1885 in Bombay to voice the opinion of Indian’s. And during the course of Independence & the party post Independence emerged as preferred choice to rule divided India after partition was announced by last Viceroy of India, Louis Mountbatten between Congress and Muslim League, who was led by Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, which led to creation of Islamic Republic of Pakistan which was heralded an era of Islamic renaissance for the Indian Muslims in the subcontinent.

With the core ethos of India being based on fundamental unity, tolerance, the nation became home to hundreds of millions of Indians belonging to diverse religions. At the time of Independence according to 1951 census Muslims were around 35.4 Million (9.8%) of population and according to 2020 estimate the population is pegged around 195 million.

During the early era of Independence the Congress under Nehru used all the tools to mask the Hindu identity under the garb of communalism. Nehru used all the tools, institutions, intellectuals, ecosystem to create so called secular identity of India and suppressed the Sanatani culture which formed the true heritage & culture of this great nation from time eternity.

As per the sinister and devious plan to destroy Sanatani culture & roots, laws & institutions were created through well crafted multi strategic plan as early in 1969, when Jawaharlal Nehru University was established with land bank of 1019.38 Acres. And today the institution has become den of anti nationals with seperatist elements raising anti India slogans. The institution is notoriously become liquour hub with sex & drug cartels operating rampantly inside the premises.

The laws enacted by Congress be it “Right to Education” that exempts minority owned institution from admitting 25 per cent poor students for free or the “Communal Violence Bill” was outrageous act that gives dispropotionate powers to minority community to charge the majority Hindu community on slight pretext to create communal disharmony leading to their arrest without bail.

And not to mention the enactment of The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HRCE) Act 1951, which allows the state governments to take over temples and maintain complete control over them and their properties was done with view to control the spread of Sanatani culture among the masses. The Act violates the concept of secularism as churches & mosques are exempt and the constitution does not allow state to run religious institutions.

And during the ten year UPA rule with Italian at helm has tried every trick in the book to discredit the great Sanatani heritage, culture and traditions. Be it falsely implicating Sadhvi Pragya or coining the word “Saffron Terrorism”. Sonia Gandhi has wept when the terrorists were killed in the Batla House encounter & also expressed her profound grief for Ishrat Jahan and on the other hand had scant regards for 59 Karsevaks which consisted only women and children that were burnt alive in Sabarmati Ashram. Not to mention the Congress & other secular parties have maintained stoic silence on plight of Kashmiri Pandits uprooted from their homeland and supported the resettlement of illegal Bangladeshi Muslims, Rohingiyas in Assam, West Bengal & other parts of the country to cater to vote bank politics and minority appeasement.

And with the Congress, secular parties in Indian political system were constantly appeasing minorities with host of benefits the vast majority Hindus following Sanatani culture were represented by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The need for the representation of majoritarian warranted the creation of Bhartiya Janta Party in 1980, which has its roots in Bharatiya Jana Sangh, formed in 1951 by Syama Prasad Mukherjee.

The demand for constructing Temple of Lord Ram at the site where Babri Masjid stood in its place helped the BJP to connect with the aspirations of millions of Hindu Sanatanis. And the structure constructed by Babur was demolished by Kar Sevaks on the historic day of 6th December 1992. By that time the BJP had become the premier opposition party in the country with 119 MPs from tally of two MPs in 1984 to 86 MPs in 1989.

In 1998 under the widely accepted leadership of Atal Bihari Vajapayee the party put the three contentious issues on the backburner and adopted coalition dharma taking into reservation of allies. And in 2002 when 59 Kar Sevaks were burnt alive in conspiracy planned by Congress functionary, the BJP Govt lost the general elections in 2004.

The 10 year UPA rule under MMS were charged with numerous corruption scandals. Infact the decade of misgovernance and corruption resulted in regime adopting populist schemes completely ignoring the skill development required by the young demographic population which were 65% of the 1.2 Billion in 2014.

And in 2014 the UPA govt was ousted and the man with decade long admininistrative experience as Cheif Minister of Gujarat took over reign of the country as Prime Minister. And he has carried out difficult structural reforms like GST, caused disruption in the economy enforcing demonetization, punishing Pakistan by carrying out deep surgical strikes, implementing slew of social programs like Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Mudra Loan Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Swatch Bharat, Beti Padhao Beti Bachao Yojana to name few.

And the Indian electorate gave resounding victory to BJP again in 2019 with the party winning 303 seats improving from the tally of 282 seats it won in 2014. And since returning to power the ruling party has abrogated Article 370 / Article 35A paving its way for intergration of Jammu & Kashmir with rest of India. Enactment of CAA Act 2019 also enables migrants/foreigners of six minority communities from three specified countries who have come to India because of persecution on grounds of their religion to apply for Indian citizenship.

Recently the government introduced three farm bills which will allow farmers the freedom to trade across states and empower them to turn into traders of their own produce and be in control of the process. The intent behind these three bills is that the new regulation will create an ecosystem where the farmers and traders will enjoy the freedom of choice of sale and purchase of agri-produce and promote barrier-free inter and intra-state trade and commerce outside the physical premises of markets notified under State Agricultural Produce Marketing legislations.

With the govt carrying out structural reforms in the economy and building infrastructure projects the opposition seems to have lost the plot to the ruling party BJP has touched the aspirations of majority Hindus, focussing on welfare agenda by successfully implementing the social welfare schemes of the govt & also improving the connectivity around the country with expediting & completing infrastructure projects proposed in earlier regimes. The pro Hindutva approach adopted by the party in nominating Mahant Yogi Adityanath as UP Cheif Minister & supporting the protest in Kerala against Sabarimala verdict which lifted the ban on women of menstrual ages from entering the Sabarimala temple helped the party to connect with the masses in the leftist bastion.

So much is the eagerness among the opposition to save their Hindu votebank, Congress embraced soft Hindutva and party president Rahul Gandhi was willing to discuss his Brahmin background displaying janewara as well as his gotra. Describing him as Shiv Bhakt the Gandhi scion has been on Temple run during the assembly elections in Gujarat. The party manifesto had mention of constructing cow shelters and commercial production of gaumutras and cow dungs.

The secularism of Yadav’s SP and RJD will be tested once the momentum for Mathura’s Krishna Janmabhoomi gain traction. The secular queen of Bengal have been shedding her anti Hindu mindset with announcing stipends to Hindu Purohits & announced grant of Rs 50,000 to each Durga Puja committee of Bengal.

The regional parties like the Deve Gowda Janta Dal United, Chirag Paswan Lok Janshakti party, Naveen Patnaik Biju Janta Dal, Uddhav Thackrey Shiv Sena, Sharad Pawar NCP, K.C Chandrasekhar TRS, Jagan Reddy Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party, TMC, SP, RJD, National Conference, PDP are fighting for their political survival post 2020 and are unable to protect their electoral support base due to consolidation of Hindu votes for Bhartiya Janta Party. The party had made spectacular inroads in recently concluded GHMC Local elections where it emerged second largest party increasing its tally to 46 from meagre four seats in previous term.

In the process of reinventing themselves by adopting soft Hindutva, Secular Parties seems to be losing out its traditional muslim vote base to Asaduddin Owaisi’s party All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen who has emerged as Pan Indian Muslim politician. After his party announced of contesting elections in West Bengal, the ruling TMC and Congress have accused Owaisi of being a proxy for the BJP. The party put up spectacular show in Bihar where it won 5 out of 20 seats it contested.

Another Muslim party SDPI led by Tasleem Rehmani increased it seats by more than 100 percent in recently concluded Kerala local body polls. The party bagged 95 seats this time, including 75 panchayat wards, one block panchayat ward, 18 municipal wards and Chathinamkulam corporation division.

With recent string of electoral victory points out Congress parties & secular parties will be marginalized at the expense of rise of Islamic parties in India with the congregation may claim the post of Leader of Opposition in the years to come. All this point out that slow & steady death of secular parties seems to be coming true with every passage of time.
