PM Narendra Modi said in the last eight years, work has been done at a faster pace to strengthen the judicial infrastructure of the country

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed bundle of issues and pragmatic approach to cure them while inaugurating the first All India District Services Authorities Meet in New Delhi. He mentioned that justice delivery system is the most important structure to fulfil the desire of having a workable judicial system.

And judicial infrastructure plays an important role in the equation. He said, in the last eight years, work has been done at a faster pace to strengthen the judicial infrastructure of the country.

Prime Minister majorly emphasized upon the information technology and fintech. Prime Minister stressed upon the crucial time to introduce more power of technology to judicial proceedings. He said, under e-courts mission, virtual courts are being started in the country.

The prime minister praised the judiciary’s objective to dispense justice and the way it is moving towards. And also lauded the 1 crore cases that have been heard through video conferencing in the country.

Ease of Justice is as Important as Ease of Doing Business and Ease of Living:

Prime Minister also appealed to District Legal Services Authorities to expedite the release of undertrials by using their position in the District Level Undertrial Review Committee.

While emphasizing the constitutional values, PM referred to Article 39A which deals with legal aid. PM Modi addressed the faith in the judiciary every ordinary person has when all the doors shuts.

Also suggested that, that in order to work and to achieve the constitutional objective, Bar Council of India should align with more lawyers with this effort.

NDA government in its last 8 years have invested 9000 crore to improve judicial mechanism and its infrastructure, He concluded.
