In yet another case of Nirbhaya-like brutality, a 16-year-old mentally challenged girl was gang-raped in Rajasthan’s Alwar district. The girl was found in a distressed state with severe injuries on her private parts on Tuesday.

The authorities reached the spot and the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital. She underwent surgery at a hospital in Jaipur’s JK Lone Hospital, where several doctors have operated on the victim, after which the condition is said to be somewhat stable.

As per the police sources, the said girl had been missing from her house for several hours before she was spotted on a road near Tijara Fatak in a pool of blood at around 9 pm on Tuesday.

Unfortunately, all the accused are yet to be nabbed. Meanwhile, the Alwar police are said to have formed several teams to investigate the case. The police teams are examining over 150 CCTV cameras in the area.

Protest in Alwar over the Hypocrisy of Congress Leadership

A massive protest is underway in Alwar and several other cities against Priyanka Gandhi over this incident. This incident exposes the utter hypocrisy of the Congress party which talks about women empowerment in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh.

The Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has sought a report from DGP M L Lather on the matter. Meanwhile, the state BJP has also formed a committee to seek justice for the mentally-challenged rape victim. BJP officials state president Satish Poonia met the victim and her family members at the JK Lone Hospital.
