Love Jihad in Bhopal: Salman becomes ‘Umesh’, married a Hindu girl, and now pressurizing for Conversion

In recent times, we have seen a surge in the Love Jihad cases across the nation. Muslim boys hide their real identity and dupe Hindu girls and marry them. Later they pressurize them to get converted to Islam, very few girls can are lucky enough to survive this ordeal, most of them are killed mercilessly.

Several state governments are preparing to make strict legal provisions to stop Love Jihad. Few governments have started drafting such a bill, under under which if convicted of Love Jihad, the convict can be punished up to 10 years.

The latest incident happened in Bhopal, where Salman became Umesh, married a Hindu girl, and now pushing her for conversion, the Hindu girl approached Home Minister Narottam Mishra to seek his help. The girl alleged that her husband, whose name is ‘Umesh’, was living with her for a long time, but his real identity revealed later. The girl said that now the husband is pressuring her to get converted to Islam.

Home Minister has ordered the Bhopal DIG to investigate the matter and the victim is assured of help. The girl explained that she had met this Muslim youth when she was living in the Ghenukhera area about a year ago. At that time, the young man called his name Umesh. Married the victim to the temple. The woman also has a child after marriage. The woman says, it is later revealed that her husband’s name is not Umesh, but Salman.

The woman alleges that she is being tortured at home for not converting. According to the victim’s girl, the accused husband also tried to kill her child. On this, Home Minister Narottam Mishra has said, the matter will be investigated and action will be taken against the guilty.
