75th Independence: ASI to hoist national flag at 150 heritage sites across India

India has now entered the month of celebrating Independence and many campaigns have already begun.

The entire nation cleanliness campaign to cover 750 monuments across the country have been announced.

 As a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the ASI has already announced free entry for all visitors to all visitors to all his monuments, sites and museums from August 5 to 15.

It was also addressed that the celebration will also have hoisting of flag on 150 monuments across the country by ASI.

ASI protects 3,693 heritage sites in India in total. There will also be a programmes such as tree plantation drives, school ‘samvads’, lectures, and raising awareness among school children by ASI.

Freedom fighters and high dignitaries will attend and grace the events across all the sites.
