Hindutva and development go hand in hand with each other. Once upon a time UP where businessman & industrialist were least bothered to invest their money. Reason , the poor condition of infrastructure and crime rate in the state which never made a business friendly atmosphere.
But after taking charge of the office in 2017 ,Cm Yogi Adityanath ji changed the face of UP by setting up law & order, curbing crime & thus making the state business friendly. Now many entrepreneurs & executives have accepted that UP has improved drastically and is been considered as the future of investments.
The state is now all set to be the next business hub. By next summer pepsico would be all set with its fourth plant coming up at the kosi kalan in Mathura district of uttar Pradesh with the wooping investment of 500 crores that would employ 1500 people. Also it will ensure not only to double the snack business but also depeen pepsico relations with the state potato farmers, says Ahmed El shaikh president pepsico India.In addition Microsoft has also agreed to set up a campus at greater Noida.
“The fast track progress. government hand holding industry and upcoming jewar airport and expressways have helped us decide on UP” says Sanjay singhania vice president of Haldiram who are all set to plan two plants in the next 3-4 years with the investment of 500 crores employing more than 2000 people.the state will be also soon recognised as a manufacturing hub for mobile phones like Vivo and lava.
The state has bought 1600cr. investment by the auction of 63 acres land for 27 industrial unit that would create employment for 32000 job .UP is developing rapidly in terms of infrastructure. The jewar airport will be ready by 2022- 23. Government has also proposed to built 12 new airports including ayodhya and Varanasi .The Agra -Lucknow expressway (302 kilometres )was successfully completed. “Bundelkhand and purvanchal express highways will be built on time”, says Awanish Awasthi additional chief secretary UP. the state is also working out seriously with the defence corridor project with the Aligarh node.
To encourage the investors the government is also redrafting incentive packages for shoe manufacturing and agricultural processing units.The UP government is working rapidly in this direction to create a new face for UP.It would be worth watching the new up in the next few years.
