Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Big setback for Shiv Sena led Aghadi sarkar, SC orders CBI probe

Amid ongoing nationwide campaigns demanding a CBI probe ever since his death 2 months ago, The Supreme Court has directed the premier probing agency to investigate late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

The Apex Court while hearing a plea demanding a CBI probe into the MS Dhoni actor’s death case has directed it to conduct a thorough probe into the death of the popular actor whose death is now mired in mystery and controversy. The Apex Court also directed CBI to file a fresh case to probe the actor’s death. Maha Aghadi govt also asked to comply the SC order and ensure full compliance towards CBI required for investigation. Actress Rhea Chakroborty who had filed a plea in the SC to transfer the case filed in Bihar to Bombay has been duly rejected by the top court

The SC bench also directed Mumbai Police, who have been receiving a lot of flak for their alleged dubious probe into the 34-year-old actor’s death to ensure full cooperation towards the premier investigating agency.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, allegedly by suicide. Eversince his death, bollywood bigwigs have been facing the heat over allegations of favouritism and nepotism. Sushant’s swansong Dil Bechara released on OTT platform Hotstar last year and broke many streaming records. The Apex Court also directed CBI to file a fresh case to probe the actor’s death.
