This is in connection with a case of suicide of an architect-interior designer Anvay Naik and his mother in 2018 over alleged non-payment of dues by the accused’s respective firms. Alongside Arnab Goswami, Feroze Shaikh and Nitish Sarda also stand accused. The suicide note was purportedly written by Anvay Naik, where he said that he was forced to take his life as he was not paid dues of Rs 5.40 crore by the three accused. The case was closed by the court, however Maharashtra Government has reopened this case to settle the score with Arnab Goswami.
