The government is now preparing to cancel the passports and visas of farmers who are damaging government property and creating nuisance by identifying their photographs. Police will cancel the passports and visas of the youth identified in the Passport Office, Ministry of Home Affairs and Indian Embassy.

Ambala Police is now going to take strict action against those farmers who were seen breaking the barricades placed by the police or damaging government property at the Shambhu border in excitement about the Delhi march.

Ambala Police shared with the media the photos of many farmers who are seen creating disturbance on the border. So that their passports and visas can be cancelled.

The police has started taking such pictures from the quality PTT CCTV cameras and drones installed on the Shambhu border. Giving information, Ambala Police DSP Joginder Sharma said that they will send these photographs to the Passport Office as well as the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Indian Embassy so that the passports and visas of these identified youth can be cancelled.

Even last week, Haryana police official is heard making an announcement in a village regarding the call for a gathering of farmers at the Shambhu border (Ambala) and a march to Delhi. The police official stated, “Any villager not participating in this agitation will face strict legal action. If anyone is found involved, their JCB or tractor will be seized, and legal action will be initiated, leading to the cancellation of passports.”

The police has taken several precautionary steps in expectation of a huge number of people participating in the protests. The officials said that internet services may fluctuate in some regions of Haryana as the administration will prioritize maintaining law and order in the state.
