A case of rape of a 10-year-old girl came to light in Phase 1 police station area of ​​Noida on Thursday. The accused of rape was a doctor living in her neighbourhood. The accused was shot in both his legs.

According to the information received from the police, on November 2, at Police Station Phase-1, the victim’s father had lodged a complaint of rape with his minor daughter by the accused Shahzad, resident of Sector-8, JJ Colony, Near Jama Masjid, Mother Dairy Wali Gali, Noida. . Several police teams were formed to arrest the accused in the case.

Police Station Phase-1 received information that the accused was hiding in the ruins in the park of Sector-10. When the police reached the spot and tried to arrest the accused, he started firing at the police. The police also retaliated on this. In this, accused Shehzad got injured by bullets in both his legs. One illegal pistol, 2 live and 2 empty cartridges have been recovered from his possession. He has been sent to the hospital.
