Mumbai is known as the land of dreams, where everyone comes to fulfill their aspirations. However, the city comes with an equal amount of challenges and problems as well.
Various politicians, political parties, and social organizations promise and portray as if they are working for the welfare of Mumbaikars, however, most of the efforts are either vague or just for the photo ops.
Though, we have an organization in Mumbai, which really works at the grassroots level and puts every effort to improve the living of Mumbaikars and ensure their day-to-day challenges are mitigated. We are talking about the BJYM, South Mumbai, which is a branch of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the youth wing of BJP, that was founded in 1978.
BJYM has an organizational structure similar to that of BJP, and currently, MP Tejasvi Surya is serving as national president of BJYM. BJYM believes in all core ideologies of the BJP, including Antyoday and Jan-Kalyan.
We worked with BJYM South Mumbai Head Sunny Sanap to get the information of several activities carried out by BJYM-South Mumbai.
Clean drinking water is one of the biggest problems in Mumbai, and BJYM South Mumbai is carrying out a Tank cleaning drive to ensure the availability of clean drinking water to every Mumbaikar.
Amid the Corona time, BJYM South Mumbai came as a savior, as they distributed Oxymeters, medicines, and rations to the people who were unable to afford these items.
Vaccine hesitancy is another malice that is impacting the vaccination drive across the nation, and especially in Maharashtra. BJYM South Mumbai understood its responsibility and organized many Vaccination Help camps, where they used to debunk many myths about the vaccination and encouraged the people to get the jabs as quickly as possible.
BJYM South Mumbai also organizes frequent medical and healthcare checkup camps for people, where it conducts such as diabetes, heart checkup, blood pressure checkup, and body temperature checkup for people at the leisure of their homes.
BJYM South Mumbai also organizes blood donation camps for Mumbaikars and ensures every needy person gets adequate availability of blood in emergency situations.
There is no doubt that BJYM South Mumbai is a perfect socio-cultural organization with a focus on the social and cultural development of people and imbibed the spirit of selflessness, social responsibility, dedication, and nationalism into every Indian.
It believes in the principle of Sabka Vikas and puts more emphasis on reaching out to the person at the lowest strata of the society and make changes in their lives and uplift them to the mainstream.
We salute the efforts of BJYM South Mumbai and wish them the best of luck for all their future endeavors.
