Indian culture is extremely rich, diverse, and interesting. We are fortunate enough to belong to a Nation that has an immensely respected culture in the world. Our culture is always maintained and promoted by the people practicing them, especially by those who live in foreign countries.

We believe the best way to promote culture among young people is by inspiring them by our acts, which reflects our culture, ethos, and values. Today we will tell you the story of a girl, who is not only transforming the lives of people but also propagating India’s culture in Japan.

Yes, we are talking about Nupur Tewari, who is an internationally acclaimed and award-winning transformation and mindfulness coach and founder of HealTokyo and HealIndia was called by Japanese media as the unofficial ambassador of India to Japan.

She has been promoting India and Indian culture in Japan since 2003, especially through yoga. She serves her motherland India and karambhumi Japan through her different initiatives.

On 1st January this year, she decided to start her year by feeding the homeless in Tokyo and walking 12km but the walk extended to 15kms. She started the journey from a very famous Buddhist temple called Sensoji with prayers for everyone’s good health in 2021, India and Japan’s strongest bond, world peace and to promote Modi Ji’s FIT India movement.

The Temperature was chilling -1 degrees in Tokyo but the severe cold couldn’t stop her to keep her commitment. She fed homeless in Shinjiku and walked for 15kms. Many people cheered for her on the way. New year is very special for Japanese culture so she wanted everyone to have food  & not starve on this day.

We appreciate the spirit of Nupur Tewari and love the way she is showcasing Indian culture on foreign land. We salute her for all her humane work which ultimately enhancing India’s image at global level.
