What is fascism?
In a sting operation done by the Republic TV, Sharad Pawar’s close aide Nawab Malik disclosed that Arnab would get so frustrated, because of the cases piled against him that he would commit suicide.
In an another sting operation again done by Republic, Congress spokesperson Raghvendra Shukla had admitted that Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi government had set up a special task force to harass and terrorise editor-in-chief of Republic TV. Shukla further insisted, “No one can help Republic TV from being shut, as the intelligence agencies of Maharashtra had been ordered to lay trap for Arnab and his news channel at any cost. Shukla also revealed it is NCP chief Sharad Pawar, who was behind all this.
On 8th October, in a press conference, Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh revealed TRP scam committed by various channels and Republic TV, while FIR had India Today as main accused. Why did Mumbai Police Chief deliberately try to frame Republic TV?
Arnab Ranjan Goswami, editor-in-chief of Republic Media Network, is a loud but fearless journalist, who dares to question and criticise the government, when it fails to fulfil its duty to protect its citizens. Arnab had questioned Maharashtra government for its failure to protect two Sadhus and their driver, when they were brutally mob lynched on 16 April 2020 in Palghar. Thereafter, 200 FIRs across the country had been lodged against Arnab. He was grilled by Mumbai Police for more than 12 hours on 27 April during strict lockdown of Covid-19, when dealing with Pandemic was the top priority. Aren’t continuous witch hunt of Arnab Goswami giving impression as if establishment is working round the clock with its agencies to silence Arnab? Would 47 years old Arnab Goswami be finished off on the lines of Jamal Khashoggi?
Who was Jamal Khashoggi and how was he eliminated by a fascist government?
A prominent Saudi journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, who was the critic of Saudi Arabia’s government, walked into his country’s consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, on 2 October 2018 and disappeared forever. It was open secret that he was murdered.
59-year-old Jamal Khashoggi was close to the Saudi royal family for decades and also served as an adviser to the government. But, his relationship with royalty went sour in 2017. Thereafter, he shifted to United States in 2017. He criticised the policies of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the son of King Salman and Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler in his monthly column in The Washington Post. An establishment, which doesn’t allow its criticism is called fascist. Jamal Khashoggi was killed for criticising Saudi government.
Jamal Khashoggi was finished off, but a deep conspiracy is being hatched to destroy Arnab Goswami for questioning government.
Be it Shiv Sena or NCP, they don’t like criticism.
Shiv Sena workers thrashed Hiramani Tiwari, a resident of Wadala Mumbai, and forcibly tonsured his head for a Facebook post in which he had criticised Udhav Thackeray 20 December 2019.
A 40-year-old civil engineer Anant Karmuse from Thane accused Minister Jitendra Awhad of beating him black and blue in his bungalow on 5 April for posting a morphed photo.
Isn’t MVA government classical example of fascist establishment, where critics are brutally silenced? Even a common citizen is thrashed for exercising freedom of expression.
There are many instances in the past when Arnab Goswami slammed Modi government, but no effort was made to gag him.
What is pseudo fascism?
There are self proclaimed liberal journalists, who have been criticising and demonising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government since ages, who didn’t hesitate to defame and demean the country to let down prime minister Modi even on international platform. Nevertheless, those journalists are safe and sound. And their diatribe still continues. However, they keep calling Modi administration as fascist government.
When Rajdeep Sardesai had been hounding and demonising the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi since 2002, Modi sportingly replied, “journalists like Rajdeep Sardesai are thriving on maligning Modi. Modi critiques are also getting RS tickets and Padma awards.” He wished them luck, “I wish you all the best to keep this alive and get into Rajya Sabha and Padma awards
Here in Maharashtra, if a common citizen exercises freedom of speech to criticise the government, he is beaten black and blue or publicly thrashed. If a journalist questions the government, all agencies are ordered to frame him.
What is even more appalling, Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi keeps ranting the same line again and again that democracy is in danger under Modi government, but never speaks a word on fascism by MVA government.
