What is Dharma? Dharma is to be fearless to execute uncompromising duty to protect your faith, even if threat of death stares at you. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj didn’t agree to sign for construction of both Ram Temple and Babri Mosque even if he was harassed, tortured and threatened by ex PM P. V. Narsimha Rao.

Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati Ji

Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati Ji unravelled the shocking details of politics, which had almost compromised the national interest, but he didn’t allow it to happen. Disputed structure of Babri Mosque had been demolished, when P. V. Narsimha Rao, the then Indian PM acted in collusion with Kalyan Singh, the then Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. However, P.V. Narasimha Rao removed Kalyan Singh government in Uttar Pradesh and imposed President’s rule in the state after the demolition.

Thereafter, P. V. Narsimha Rao invited Sringeri Shankaracharya with all Sant and Sadhus to Delhi ‘Chaturmas’ after decorating Delhi like a bride and clandestinely established ‘Ramalaya Trust,’ which was intended to strengthen Narasimha Rao’s position in the upcoming elections so that he can build mosque along with a temple when he comes to power. P.V. Narsimha Rao wanted to secure Muslim votes for the Congress by building a mosque next door.

Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati Ji says, except him all Shankaracharyas, Vaishnavacharyas, Ramanandacharyas signed Ramalaya Trust. All the saints who signed this trust were loaded with money and riches. Hence, those who signed on Ramalya Trust tried to prevail upon Swami Nischalanand Saraswati Ji to sign, when he didn’t budge, those signees started pressurising and tormenting him. Swami Nischalanand Saraswati Ji was ready to sacrifice his life, but he stood his ground not to give his permission for construction of both Mosque and Temple.

After P. V. Narsimha Rao, it was Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who sent Shatrughan Sinha as his messenger to get permission for construction of both Temple and mosque. As Swami Nischalanand Saraswati Ji claims, Atal Bihari Vajpayee too tormented him for not signing on Ramalaya Trust. Nevertheless, Swami Nischalanand Saraswati Ji had indomitable moral courage to stand firm as he knew construction of a mosque was accepting subjugation. How can accepting subjugation be in the interest of nation?

A Hindu must ask this question, Babur, the barbaric Islamic invader, could have built the mosque somewhere else, instead of destroying Ram Temple. Why did he destroy temple of Ram? The answer is; Babur, the barbarian, demolished temple of God Ram in 1528 to build Babri mosque to attack our faith, to injure our civilisation. 5 August 2020, is the day when ‘Bharatvarsh’ would liberate itself from one humiliation on our civilisation to correct historical injustices. It was 492 years of unflinching struggle, which witnessed tears, river of blood, burning of train and supreme sacrifices of uncounted Hindu warriors before foundation stone of Ram Temple would be laid on 5 August.

Isn’t it scary to imagine what would have happened if Swami Nischalanand Saraswati Ji had signed on Ramalya Trust under tormenting pressure of P. V. Narsimha Rao and Atal Bihari Vajpayee? Construction of mosque adjacent to Ram Temple would have been a fresh wound and symbol of humiliation on our civilisation inflicted by leaders who can stoop so low to humiliate country’s civilisation and to compromise national security.

India is indebted to Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj for Ram Temple as laying foundation of Ram Temple is approaching on 5 Aug.
