Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the nation for the ninth time from the ramparts of the Red Fort on the occasion of Independence Day, urged the youth to dedicate the next 25 years of their lives to the development of the nation and highlighted five resolves to accomplish the same.

By 100 years of independence, for the next 25 years, we need to focus on the 5 resolves – 1. Viksit Bharat (Developed India), 2. Removing every ounce of Gulami (slavery) in us, 3. Work on the pride for our glorious heritage, 4. Ensuring Unity among all, 5. Fulfilling our fundamental Duties,” PM Modi said.
According to the Prime Minister, when aspirations are large, hard work is equally demanding. We must be inspired by the Sankalp and the courage of our freedom fighters who fought for a free India. He also exhorted the youth to devote the next 25 years of their lives to the growth of the nation, and even the development of mankind as a whole.
The COVID-19 epidemic, according to the Prime Minister, was an example of this collective awareness, where citizens gathered together. “From supporting doctors to propelling research to taking vaccines to the remotest parts, we have stood together,” he said.
According to the Prime Minister, the world today views India with pride and optimism, and as a problem solution. The world sees India as a place where dreams may be realized. My grasp of the Indian spirit led me to recognize that in order for New India to thrive, we needed to promote inclusive development across the country, an ideal held dear by Mahatma Gandhi.
The Prime Minister stated from the ramparts of the Red Fort that Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas, Sabka Vishwaas, and Sabka Prayaas have become the cornerstone of assuring the execution of pro-nation policies and carrying development to the last mile.
When governance is stable, and fast decision-making, the spirit of Jan Bhagidari prevails for the nation’s development.
