Thirty-one years ago, more than 5 Lakh Kashmiri Hindus were ethnically cleansed of Kashmiri Valley by marauding Islamic terror groups. Kashmir valley witnessed brutal murders, rapes, religious hatred, and whatnot. The then J&K Chief Minister, Farooq Abdullah, completely abdicated his responsibility, he instead colluded with the Islamist gangs, which left 500,000 Kashmiri Hindus with no option except leave the valley.
Thousands of Kashmiri Hindus died in squalid camps with various diseases and sunstroke, while the rest of them moved on with their lives with negligible support from the Indian government, in the hope of going back to their homes one day, where their ancestors were living for many generations earlier genocides.
Filmmakers Vivek Agnihotri has done a tremendous job in highlighting the plight of Kashmiri Hindus. He has shown exemplary courage to show the real face of the Kashmiri Hindu genocide in this film, and we are pretty much sure that this film will evoke the passions in Hindus, and helped them understand the narrative created around this horrendous genocide committed 3 decades back, and hopefully, the victims will get the justice.
However, we would like to bring your attention to another such gory incident, which has also been suppressed in the garb of Congressi-Leftist narrative, yes, we are talking about the genocide of Hindus in Punjab. Whenever there is talk of violence in Punjab, we are reminded of only the Congress-sponsored riots of 1984.
We are told how Bhindranwale and his supporters had occupied the Golden Temple and Akal Takht, due to which the army had to be called, and then Bhindranwale and his henchmen were killed, after which there was a wave of anger among the Sikhs, as their holy Golden Temple and the Akal Takht were insulted and hundreds of their people were killed.
In order to take revenge, two Sikh bodyguards had assassinated the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. After this killing, a feeling of malice towards Sikhs was spread across the country and thousands of Sikhs were killed in the Congress-sponsored riots. Due to this, we have witnessed a long period of terrorism in Punjab, and a large section of Sikhs have turned away from India, forever.
But what was the truth? The truth is that the 1984 incident was not in isolation, but it was just the culmination of many incidents that took place in the 70s and 80s. Did you know that between 1980 and 1990, 33,000 people were killed in Punjab? You may find these lies, so take a look at the official figures of the Punjab government at this link.
Of the 33,000 people who were killed, most of them were Hindus, Hindus living in Punjab, workers from other states. These people were killed by Bhindranwale’s henchmen, by stopping the buses, the Hindus were taken out of them and killed, they entered the houses and killed them. It was Bhindranwale who got Lala Jagat Narayan, the founder, and editor of Punjab Kesari, murdered, which caused a wave of fear all over Punjab.
Bhindranwale demanded that Punjab be made a separate country, Khalistan, and committed unaccounted atrocities on Hindus, thousands of Hindus were killed, and thousands were forced to flee From Punjab, but surprisingly, whenever there is talk of violence in Punjab, we are reminded only of the 1984 riots, In which 8 to 10 thousand Sikhs were killed, but nobody talks about the thousands of Hindus, who were brutally murdered by terrorists.
Most of the people might not be aware of it, but we do have a museum at Durgiana Temple in Amritsar, which displays portraits of Hindu political leaders, activists, and civilians killed by Khalistan terrorists besides prominent persons from the community who played an important role in the history of undivided Punjab.
We feel that it’s time to produce a movie, named Punjab Files, that should unearth the hidden facts and incidents that happened between the 80s and 90s. This movie must offer a deep insight into the environment created by the Bhindrawale and Congress party. It was Congress that hired Bhindrawale to counter the ever-increasing influence of Akali Dal.
We must know how they sacrificed Hindus in the name of Khalistan. We have to know how thousands of Hindus were killed, raped, tortured, and this information was suppressed so that their narratives could be strengthened. How only the Sikhs were described as victims, and they remain silent on the atrocities committed on the Hindus. But now this should change, now Punjab Files should also be made, and the truth of Punjab must come out.
Very right !
