The deadly pandemic of the century, worse than the economic crisis in 1929 -30 is testing our patience and determination. From my experience I will advise the following actions in daily schedule and follow them faithfully

Watch educational shows; subscribe to the History Channel;

Learn new skills online; Internet is a great learning platform and now India has 75 crore internet subscribers all over the nation. Last 30 crore got hooked to Internet during last 4 years of the Modi rule.

Read books or eBooks; a large number of books are available online. Make the best of it during Covid – 19 times at present.

Stay in eTouch with the family; during the pandemic in the last one month I had zoom chats and video meets with my long lost cousins, my classmates, my ex office colleagues and my parents and charming sister in laws.

Choose your new friends wisely; these new friends are made during morning walks and other shopping binge.

Get rid of toxic friends; toxicity created by friends must be avoided at any cost. It’s time to say good bye to toxic friends.

Find a good, intelligent and knowledgeable mentor; mentor will come handy to get suggestions and sound advice for the future.

Start that Business, which you were planning to start since ages. At least form the company now and register it.

Start a new hobby or revive the old hobby immediately. Be it singing or writing poetry or painting but do not day dream and negativity set in the mind.

Learn a language; language is a medium of communications with nature, friends, and soulmate and office colleagues. Learn a foreign language if you are planning to immigrate to EU or Australia or even Canada, where French is the 2nd official language of the country, which is widely spoken in Quebec and Ontario.

Set goals in life and work towards achieving. The goal can be as simple as maintaining the current weight or losing it by few kilos. Follow the routine faithfully for immediate success and muscle building.

Plan your day & week and even month, the Covid – 19 is not waning soon. No one is sure how it will behave and how much precaution individuals will have to take. One simple advice do not trust Delhi feku CM, Manyavar Khujliwal. Switch the channel if he appears on the idiot box. Two idiots cannot exist together at the same time for sure.

Make a plan for your life, pandemic has taught us to live our lives in simple ways, we may not need many pairs of trousers or ties or shirts or lapel pins or shoes or scarves. Learn to share and confide with mentors and family and close friends.

Practice gratitude, patience level of individuals is waning. Due to office stress many individuals are on very short fuse. Many individuals have lost their jobs, central government has frozen six monthly dearness allowance increase till June 30th 2021, interest rates have gone down and net income has decreased. Gratitude for what you already have is a must, there are sad news for many families as UP Government and other state governments have even reduced pension of retired state government. Thank god, each and every hour. Life is very precious. It will never come back again.

Practice meditation, cool the nerves and learn to meditate daily to calm the mind, rejuvenate soul and strengthen body.

Exercise daily, try to exercise daily to reduce the mental agony and unnatural stress and business though increasing is still stressing the hospitality, travel and tourism sector. Pray to the Lord such that He gives daily bread to the distressed!

Learn more skills, to be a winner in the long run. Already disruptive changes are going to happen. Official tours will not be the order of the day for may be some time. Work from home will be a new norm and this is taxing the white collar workers.

Drink less alcohol or no alcohol and hard drinks as far as possible. There are many who are shouldering this responsibility along with doctors, nurses, sweepers, rag pickers and other service providers. If possible give up such nonproductive habits forever.

Don’t worry about opinions, given by neighbours, wise people and New Delhi CM. opinion givers are never to be trusted and must be avoided by at least 80 ft pole, not even ‘2 gaz ki doori’ or what we call social distancing norm.

Eat healthier, which is easier to digest, natural fruits and dried nuts if possible and strictly no aerated drinks and beverages, which will increase your sugar levels.

Learn to cook, it is the best way to destress and improve your skill sets. Wife or husband and spouse and parents will be extremely happy for your enhancement of culinary skill sets and this will give you enormous happiness.

Sleep & wake up earlier, earlier idiom which our parents forced us to recite loudly was; early to bed and early to rise; makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise must be followed in the right letter and spirit.

Stop procrastinating at each step, procrastinating at each step is a very very bad habit and during the Covid – 19 time such habit must be dumped for life.

Manage the time better for healthy living, regular maintenance of daily schedule is a very good habit and if a regular time table is developed, this will bring lot of time saving on daily basis. Practice this habit faithfully.

Stick to a healthy routine, each day is a new day with new positive vibes and new hope. This will cheer your body, mind and soul. Smile often and spout less. A smiling face is often liked more than a morose and moron face.

Travel more, around the location we stay. Change of work and environment is considered as rest and good for the mind.

Save your money, while spending money wisely, during the lockdown most of the labour class was not paid and had to switch to community kitchen and soup bowls and I must salute my organisation RSS and great philanthropists to distributed food packets daily.

Invest your money wisely, the money must not be lying idle. Many saving accounts also can be customised to be semi fixed deposits, which will earn you more than simple saving accounts interest, thus earning more money from saving accounts.

Spend money on experiences, I was a government servant but would often take my family for 5 star dinners, such that kids learn the manners, confidence and attitude to survive in such surroundings. Tourism and tour companies are hoping for massive surge in travel and tours, once the pandemic die out.

Challenge yourself daily should be the motto of life. Take for example if I had walked 1 km on a given date and day, I must challenge self to walk additional 10% more each passing day to gain stamina and endurance.

Visualise success and celebrate it too.

Forgive others, always. Forgiveness is a great trait of human character and must be followed with determination and must not be considered a weakness of a good soul.

Stop trying to win approval from others, people observe you for long and they always keep your positivity and hard work. Wise leaders will always acknowledge your efforts at each stage of life at an appropriate time. Have patience in being patted.

Take pride in your appearance on a daily basis. Life is the greatest gift and it is important that we must appear neat and tidy and look cheerful.

Love yourself often and think of good which has been done to you always.

Never back bite and think evil of others.

Life is a journey and we must share our happiness and knowledge for the good of the society. May the lord bless us always!
