Dr. Avneesh Kumar was born in Uttar Pradesh, India, a northern part close to the Himalaya. Dr. Avneesh Kumar earned a PhD degree in Polymer Chemistry from a prestigious research institute from Germany known as Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research located in Mainz (German city on the Rhine River). Currently, he is affiliated with Muroran Institute of Technology, Muroran, Japan and focuses on 1D/2D functional nanomaterials for energy and biological applications in order to contribute towards a sustainable society. In his spare time, Avneesh enjoys doing Yog(a), writing poetry, and photography.
