From Taj Mahal and Saifai Mahotsav to Maryada Purushottam Sri Ram Airport and grand Deepotsav, isn’t it huge cultural shift in UP?

On 24 November 202, I was sitting in my Mumbai office that a piece of news overwhelmed me. Then suddenly, I felt emotions welled up from my chest to my throat and tears of pride rolled down my eyes.

What was the news?

Uttar Pradesh Cabinet led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath cleared the proposal to rename the Ayodhya airport, which is under construction, as Maryada Purushottam Sri Ram Airport, Ayodhya.

Tears of pride transported me back to those feelings of helplessness and despair, when I was visiting my cousin in Saifai in my home state UP during first week of January 2015. Saifai was wearing a festive look. SP supporters in huge number had gathered in the streets sprinkling of ABEER and GULAAL, singing and dancing to the tune of NAGAARA (drums). Then, I happened to witness Bollywood night, when Bollywood item girls and boys danced in their revealing clothes to entertain drunk crowds.

Why such extravagant celebration in remote village of UP? I asked my cousin. This lavish expenditure is to commemorate the birthplace of Mulayam Singh Yadav. Next, my cousin informed that crores of  tax payers’ money was spent on arrangement to pick up Bollywood item girls and item boys from Mumbai to Saifai and their extravagant lodging. It is said that in 2014, a whopping Rs 334 crores was spent on the Saifai Mahotsav.

Due to lack of employment, I was forced to  leave my home town, Gorakhpur to migrate to Mumbai to find the source of livelihood. But, here in UP, Chief Minister is wasting huge amount of money to honour birth place of its Party Supremo. It was helplessness and despair all around me. I watched vulgar wastage of money by head of my state as I was a powerless citizen, who had power only to vote and to pay taxes.

Uttar Pradesh is birth place of God Ram and God Krishna. Did SP government try to uplift cultural heritage of Ayodhya and Mathura?

NO. When hard earned public money was being wasted on Saifai Mahotsava in a vulgar manner, Ayodhya and Mathura, birth place of God Ram and God Krishna were badly neglected. Poor infrastructure added with lack of system, Ayodhya and Mathura continued to be ignored by SP government.

What can be more humiliating than a civilisation being disgraced by its own very natives? What can be bigger sin than invaders, butchers and rapists of the very civilisation are glorified by its own people. Even if Islamic attackers and oppressors were dethroned, and Britishers left India, india’s soul continue to be chained by slave mentality of natives, who unabashedly take pride from Islamic invaders.

When Faizabad district’s name was changed to Ayodhya and Allahabad was renamed as Prayagraj, Yogi government cleaned the blot of glorification of Islamic invasion and attack on India.

Yogi government is not only reclaiming the lost glory of Uttar Pradesh, but he is continuously working to improve the condition electricity, roads and water as well as fixing the law and order system of UP, which was earlier known as Gundaraaj, Mafiaraaj and BIMARU (sick) state.

News from UP is not overwhelming for sons of its soil but gives huge sense of pride to every Indian.

Grand Deepotsav celebrations at Diwali, in the holy city of Ayodhya at Saryu river with lighting of a record 5.51 lakh earthen lamps is overwhelming as if divinity has descended on the earth from above. Before Deepotsav, it is grand Ram Leela, which connected modern India with its ancient glorious history and e by arned a new identity to Ayodhya globally.

While UP CM Yogi Adityanath initiated Herculean task to revive cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated his dream project, Kashi Vishwanath Corridor on 8 March 2019. Kashi Vishwanath temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temple, was surrounded by narrow, small and claustrophobic lanes. It was a tough challenge for devotees to reach temple through huge crowds in its congested lanes during festive times. Approximately 3,000 to 5,000 devotees visit the temple every day. On Mahashivratri and Shravan month, number of devotees reaches over 1 to 3 lakh.

Once the Kashi Vishvanath corridor is completed, it would ease the congestion and provide pilgrims better facilities with cleaner lanes and roads with bright lighting, clean drinking water, waiting rooms for the pilgrims to rest, lodgings for priests, volunteers and pilgrims and many more facilities.

Fake Ganga Jamuni Tehjeeb, which never existed, and pseudo secularism have continued to muffle India’s soul, which is Sanatan Dharma. Self proclaimed secular leaders blatantly ignored and disregarded Hindu religious places to appease second largest population, which call themselves minority.

Prime Minister Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi duo have spearheaded to lead India not only to the path of development but to revive and reclaim cultural roots and heritage with slogan of SABKA SAATH SABKA VIKAS, which means development for all.

Uttar Pradesh is not only reclaiming its lost glory to tell the world of its thousand years old civilisations, but it is on the path of development with good governance.

Would I be able to relocate in UP?

Perhaps soon, tears of pride….
