A 55-year-old man named Peer Mohammed was arrested on November 5th by Khiro Police in Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh, for the rape of a 9-year-old girl. Mohammed allegedly drew the youngster to the adjacent fields where he sexually assaulted her. He left the little girl lying in a pool of blood after raping her and ran away. The accused has been the subject of a case filed under pertinent sections of the POCSO and the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
In some way, the young child made it home and told her parents about what had happened. Her health was critical when she was taken to the hospital. After being referred, she got primary care at District Hospital Rae Bareli. Then, the physicians advised her to visit the Lucknow Trauma Center.
The child was reportedly playing outside her home. She was lured by the accused to the fields, which were about a kilometer away, when he sexually assaulted her. Peer Mohammed, the 55-year-old accused, then left the area.
The Uttar Pradesh police issued a statement stating that they were notified of the incident at around 9:45 PM after the child’s father claimed that his daughter had been beaten by a 55-year-old villager. A sizable police presence quickly descended on the location to launch a comprehensive investigation. Four specialist teams were sent to arrest the suspect after the victim was quickly admitted to the hospital.
